Helen Whinday has a genuine heart of gold, an agile mind and a burning desire to find deep happiness which seems eternally just beyond her grasp.

Helen sees the light but is fundamentally unable to reach the place where it resides in herself.

A self-sacrificing hard worker, she serves the good while not totally believing it is hers to have and hold. While the world is at her finger tips, she sighs in dark resignation as it slips away every time. Yet her heart is calling  to her for love that she feels is remote yet insists is just a heartbeat away. If she could only take that step, that leap her trusting voice urges her to take, her life would have meaning beyond the strident caring profession in which she is renowned.

Helen's earnest appeal to all that is good in the world, coupled with her sincere shining, give those around her pause at her true beauty. But despite this, her demons play a forceful hand in her path to self fulfillment and quite surrender to a solitary life of loneliness.

Helen stands before her goodness, only to cast doubtful eyes on her own worthiness.
